Throwback Thursday

As I post some of my “Throwback” photos on my Instagram account, I decided to post one of the songs, in which I consider a “classic” and fits the word, Throwback as well.

So, here’s Dead Can Dance‘s “The Host of Seraphim”, taken from their studio album “A Passage in Time” released 1991.

Enjoy!

Monday running

I once again made my running workout earlier this morning, and I say it’s so awesome! The first 3k somehow was not too hard for me. But after making the 5km, I started to feel the numbness on my legs as if it’s about to crack! But well, good thing, there’s nothing bad that happened.

But anyway, here’s my result. :) and I hope I could make a 7km possibly next time. Who knows!? :-)

Powered by Nike Free Plus, perfect for running. And also the Nike Free Running app.

Getting back to my toes…

Just this morning, I tried to make my first early morning run. I used to run before with my friends/running buddies after work, so most probably around 7pm or 8pm. We run with so many runners(?) at the Track 30th of the BGC, Taguig, or sometimes around the area just to have a quick sightseeing of it.

To make the story short, we do not run anymore nowadays, so I decided to push myself alone for running. And I tried running this morning since I woke up too early, around 5:30 I guess. I put my gears on and started my warm-up for about 30 minutes.

Then after few steps on walking. I started the Nike Running app, and let the flames begin!!!

And hellyeah!!!! I never know that this would feel great. I mean, that moment when you can’t feel your weight that hinders your running. That used to be my problem before when we’re running in the evening, when you’re already tired of the long day work and of course, STRESS! So, that shows a big difference in an obvious way. As a result, I ran for 40minutes with an overwhelming result of 6km. So that’s a record!

Special thanks to my Nike Free Plus shoes, a shoes that’s design for runners(?) like me(?).

“Nike Free shoes are specifically designed to let your feet move more naturally and freely than traditional athletic shoes. Over time, this helps make your feet stronger. But because you’ll be using some muscles in your feet more than you might be used to, it may take some time for them to get used to all that freedom. To give your feet time to adapt, we recommend you transition into using your Nike Free footwear gradually.”

Also, thanks to my NIKE Running app, it is very useful for tracking down my records; how many runs I did, average pace and a lot more cool features that will surely keep you at your feet! Download the app here.

One of the killer songs or I say, power song that pushes me is Megadeth’s “1000 Times Goodbye”. A dose of heavy metal music that really drives you forward to your limits! ‘Nuff said!? LOL

Now, I’m preparing for the second run this coming Saturday morning. Maybe, I should’ve got enough sleep for the Saturday run, and hopes for a better result, I do hope so. :)

Rainy Tuesday

And yes, it’s raining. Does it mean that summer officially ended in the Philippines!? I was like ‘oookaaayyy!?’. :-|

Anyway, i just ponder with this artist and I find this song, great and perfect for the ‘rainy, boring mood’ of mine.

I hope you liked it! :-)

Also, there are few songs that are FREE to download from his Last.FM page here.
